This song is talking about a boy who was pressured as he grew up. The first verse is talking about his parents always told him what to do but didn’t told him why do they want him to do that or why should he do it.

That boy has been with people who always wanted him to change and always told him what to do, until one day he told them to stop and so they did. There is when the boy realized that they did that for a reason, now the boy is feeling sad and is lonely, he regrets telling them to stop and also for just ignoring him. 

This song shows me that you always need to listen to your parents and to other people when they tell you to do something, if you don’t do that you’ll regret it when you are older and you’ll be lonely calling yourself a dumb.
